We are an interdisciplinary research group based in Melbourne, Australia. We develop neural interface technologies to monitor and modulate neural activity, advancing neuroscience research and enabling new biomedical applications.
Our research explores how neural activity gives rise to perception, cognition, and behaviour, and how we can interact with these processes through advanced technologies. We combine neuroscience, engineering, and computational approaches across three interconnected themes: Neural Interfaces, Decoding Neural Dynamics, and Shaping Neural Activity. Through this work, we aim to deepen our understanding of the nervous system and develop new strategies for restoring and enhancing human function.
